“I Am Empowered” initiative rolls out Wildfire Platform for social good
Atlanta, GA – March 4th, 2010 - Mobilization Labs, a technology company pioneering social mobilization technology, announced today the successful launch of the Wildfire Platform for the centennial initiative of The National Urban League. The National Urban League’s use of the Wildfire Platform will enable supporters to get involved in the national initiative to pledge their time and talent towards empowering every American.
Marc H. Morial, the CEO and President of the National Urban League, rallied supporters on Tuesday saying, “Join the National Urban League on our newest initiative, our centennial initiative, a new campaign to improve the lives of children, improve housing, jobs, and healthcare in this nation. Join our new social mobilization platform.”
“We are extremely encouraged by the National Urban League initiative. Today, technology allows us to connect in new ways that were never before possible. Harnessing these new social connections and mobilizing a nation to achieve these very important goals is a giant leap forward. This is a perfect example of a non-profit organization leveraging new technology to drive social good,” commented Joe Hamm, the VP of Business Development at Mobilization Labs.
